Welcome !

Troop 94 is located at Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Catasauqua, PA.  Our scouts come from Catasauqua, North Catasauqua, Northampton, Bethlehem and other towns near Catasauqua. Our scouts attend various school districts throughout the Lehigh Valley.  Boys from age 11-18 are welcome to join our Troop or just stop by to see what scouting is all about!!  If your son is between first grade and age 11 we have a Cub Pack as well; please visit their website at http://www.cattypack94.org

Scouting has three specific objectives, commonly referred to as the "Aims of Scouting." They are character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. The methods by which the aims are achieved are through ideals of scouting, outdoor programs, rank advancement and personal growth through experience.

Troop 94 is focused on providing our scouts with every opportunity for achieving rank advancement, for developing leadership skills and for participating in outdoor activities.

OUR MEETINGS ARE HELD IN THE CHURCH BASEMENT EVERY MONDAY AT 7PM EXCEPT HOLIDAYS AND ON SCHOOL CLOSING DAYS (WITH SOME EXCEPTIONS). THE ENTRANCE IS LOCATED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CHURCH ON THE 4TH STREET SIDE, ENTER DOWN THE STEPS UNDER THE AWNING THROUGH THE GRAY DOOR.

Campout and Snow tubing

Posted on Jan 6 2024 - 12:20pm

Just a quick reminder for those that are planning on attending the upcoming campout and snow tubing event this coming weekend. Please register online on our Troop website so we know if your Scout is attending, this way we can account for food and transportation.

Scout Dues

Posted on Sep 19 2023 - 12:28am

If you have not paid your Scout dues as of yet, they have been taken out of your Scout credit. If your Scout has no Scout credit he will have a negative balance and will need to bring in money to bring that balance current, the same goes for adults. Dues are as follows: Scouts are $100 and Adults are $60 for the year. From what I heard at recharter we are one of the cheapest Troops in the area as far as dues goes. We would like to keep it that way as long as we can, but that will depend on the cost from National. If you are not sure of your balance please see or email Kelli at kellkell3034@yahoo.com or ask me and we will let you know.

Order of the Arrow Dues

Posted on Feb 6 2023 - 12:35am

For all the Troops Order of the Arrow Members if you have not paid your dues for the OA yet you can do that online at https://witauchsoman.org/dues/ . You want to make sure you have your dues covered before you attend any OA event for say your Brotherhood, Vigil or any other OA event.

Rechartering and Scout Dues

Posted on Dec 14 2021 - 10:41pm
This year Council has moved our recharter date to Dec. 4th to be inline with when Council recharters and other Councils also. With this being said you may have or will be receiving an email with some required and some recommended training. This may also include your PA Act 15 clearances. Please let me know when you have them completed. We need to keep copies of these on file within the Troop and also at Council. Your position specific training is recommended as of this time, but wouldn't hurt for you to do it either.

To complete any of the training you can just log onto your www.scoutbook.com profile and click on the training link in your profile. Your Scoutbook login is the same as your my.scouting.org sign in. The PA Act 15 information can be found on the www.minsitrails.org site under the training tab. If you have been a resident of PA for the past 10 years you can skip #3 and use the form on #4 and just sign the waiver.

At last night's Committee meeting it was decided that we will be keeping the Scout dues at the same level as last year even with the National increase. So Scout dues will be $94 for this coming charter. Unfortunately with the National increase for adults being more than what we charged last year, so we needed to adjust our Adult dues to $50 per adult. If you or your Scout don't plan to recharter please let us know as soon as possible so we can prepare our paperwork. If you do plan to recharter we would like to collect dues before the recharter date of Dec. 4th.

Thank You,

Don Szerencits

Posted on Nov 7 2020 - 10:03pm

Just a quick reminder all Scouts are supposed to show up for Scout meetings in (Class A) field uniforms with a class b underneath. They are also supposed to have their handbook, a notebook and a writing utensil when coming to a meeting.

Thank you,
Don Szerencits
